As a wedding photographer based in Venice, I have the rare privilege of meeting couples from every corner of the world. Each week, new stories unfold in front of my camera—stories told not through words, but through glances, gestures, and the silent language of two people in love.
Working with international couples has shown me something truly beautiful:
love has many shapes, but its essence is universal.
Still, the way it is expressed varies so much from culture to culture, and witnessing these differences has become one of my favorite parts of my work.

Some couples show love quietly, with soft touches and shy smiles. Others express it boldly, unafraid to let the world see their connection. In some cultures, a man protects and guides; in others, he expresses devotion through tenderness or humor. I have seen men who hold their bride as if she were the most precious part of their world, and women who respond with trust and warmth that needs no explanation.
Venice makes these moments even more magical. Here, love seems to slow down. Couples walk hand in hand through narrow streets, whisper to each other on ancient bridges, and share intimate moments while the canals reflect the golden light of the city. I simply capture what already exists—authentic emotion shaped by culture, personality, and the unique bond between two people.
People often ask me a question that I find both amusing and meaningful:
“Which country is your favorite when it comes to how a man treats the woman he loves?”

After photographing so many couples, each with its own story and style of affection… would you like to know my answer?
